Dan's People. I had a good listen to the new cd from Dan's People, called 25 Miles. It's superb! They have a good lead singer with a very "blue eyed SOUL" voice, and they are fine, accomplished musicians too. They are even better live!

The Keepers
Ian Page - the infamous? lead singer of (in my opinion), the best revival mod band, Secret Affair, is back with The Affair! The Current line-up is: Bob Clarke (Drums), Ian Jones (Bass), Jel Lee (Guitar) Chris Daniels (Sax) And Ian Page!
The sound of The Prisoners (Graham Day) has returned in the format of The SolarFlares. Their line up is: Allan Crockford (Bass/Vocals), Simon Howard Wolf (Drums), Graham Day (Guitar/Lead Vocals), Andrew Godleman Parsley (Keyboards/Vocals).
North Dublin based band The Things are wholly original in their sound with influences deeply rooted in R'n'B and rock. They're fronted by  21 year-old Neil Moore, whose vocal styling is fevered, raw and bitingly melodic. Guitarist and musical visionary, 20 year-old Vinny Duggan, the charismatic bassist, 19 year-old Robbie Brady and drummer extraordinaire, 20 year-old Jimmy Cullen. The maestro on keys is Ruairi Paxton.
Zen have many songs from beautiful ballads such as 'Table For One' & 'I'll Be Strong', crunching guitar tunes 'Deja Vu' & 'Now Tomorrow' to upbeat pop anthems 'She's Electric Too' & 'Devil Take Me Down'.
Just as the original Modernists saw the visual implications of rock, so Headquarters turns its music into a full-on media assault incorporating fashion, art, and film. Their exuberant live shows at top clubs in their native New York City, their stylish looks, and their songtrack plus live appearance in the independent film American Mod (www.americanmod.net) have captivate mods and modern-rock fans alike.
Dennis Greaves heads up the band, playing guitar and singing. Then there is the rhythm section of Gerry McAvoy and Brendan O'Neill. Gerry is the bass player, and Brendan on drums. Mark Feltham plays the harmonica. Since January 2001 Mark has been back playing with Nine Below Zero, himself and Dennis being the founder members of the band.
The Impact's image is Mid-1960's Mod-hairstyles and clothes reflecting this. The equipment is vintage Vox, Epiphone, Hofner and Rickenbacker. The image never drops-not even in rehearsal. The manager threatened to punch any of them who wore trainers! The Imapct are: Paul Davenport, Tony Harper, Kenny Shinn, Little Phil and Ian Soulsby.

The band have been together for nearly four years now and have gone from strength to strength.
Censored - a youthful, intelligent, sharp and smartly dressed musical trio that strum, pluck, boom and thump like nothing you’ve ever heard before. What you hear is Censored...., however the sentiment, emotion and honesty is totally uncensored and soulful, highlighting just one of the many ambiguities in this merry band of modernist cohorts!
THE KEEPERS hail from Belfast, Northern Ireland. They emerged from the ashes of two of the city's best live bands, the Thee Dreggs and Cinnamon Firm. They have managed to retain the essence and power of both these bands but with an added dynamic that gives them their own distinct brand of Belfast beat. Their music is ingrained with elements of garage rock, R&B, mod and punk.
The Green Circles from Australia. A year or so ago, two friends got together to play songs they loved. They met two others of like mind and the Green Circles were born.
After a few rehearsals pretending to be the Creation or the Vibrants, they started to write their own material.
Jacksons Corner from Reading. Always give a fantastic performance, playing their original, laconic brand of mod-pop.  The members of Jacksons Corner are witty without smugness, while their lyrics are intelligent without pretentiousness.
The Boss' lead singer, Danny, born in Stepney East London. Danny is the main driving force behind 'The Boss'. Danny originally formed the band along with Marc Myers in 1984. His musical influences are varied, but mainly stem from the major bands of the 60's and also New Wave and Punk.
Long Tall Shorty have recently been compared with Primal Scream, The Hives and White Stripes, but those that knew the band in the days of the Mod Revival 1979 onwards, combined with newer listeners today, have certainly got reason to be encouraged, as witnessed by the recent launch of LTS new CD "A Bird In The Hand"- a pure blend of pounding beats and "punky mod" numbers.

The Fad! From Jersey, USA
THE FAD's influences run over a number of genres too numerous to list here. While such terms as "mod" and "garage" may help to lead the uninitiated to discover something they might like, THE FAD are constantly writing new music that reaches for creative heights. Travel with them and soar to a place of something new and unexpected!
The Fad
From the ashes of The Intelligista, arises an ultimately more purist, more mature, and more downright funky trio intent on minimalist rhythm & groove. Think Gang of Four without the punk or politics. Think James Brown's Famous Flames meets Steve Cropper - stripped down to it's most skeletal. The Provocateurs are about movement - they're about looking at a Francis Wolff photo and thinking, no matter how sweat-soaked the scene is it's still so damn cool!

Moving Sounds!
Moving Sounds
The Moving Sounds were started as a trio back in year 2000, by bass guitarist Peter Rosén, drummer Per Wollbrand and guitarist Lars Nordin. The intention from the beginning was to play music inspired by the 60s, but not raw garage punk as a lot of other bands influenced by that great decade. Instead, the idea was to play music with more of a mod flavour - a combination of sixties rhythm 'n' blues and soul or The Creation mixed with Booker T & The MG's.   Quite soon after the start Fredrik Forsman, previously in Babysnakes and Jim-Jams, joined on organ and Jonas Lindholm started handling the vocals. In August 2000, Staffan Flodmark replaced Lars Nordin as guitarist
